Me!

Hi! My name is Amy Elisabeth Ritchie and this homepage is full of things that kids like! And if you're a grownup, you'll like it too! Please be patient, as the many pictures may take a bit to load. So let my tell you all about myself. I am 13 years old, and I have brown hair and green eyes. My birthday is November 15. I am homeschooled by my mom and dad. My favorite subject is spelling, and my least favorite subject is Math. I say it's Miserable And Terribly Hard (get it? The letters spell math). I like to be homeschooled because I can be with my family always. I have two sisters and one brother. I have a sister named Sara who is 9 years old, a 3 year old sister named Hannah, and a baby brother (born May 20^th). Hannah is so cute and looks up to me a lot, too. She calls me "Amy mama". Our brother, like I said, was born May 20^th. He weighed 10 lbs. And was born at 10:00 PM. His name is Stephen Isaac Ritchie, and he is so cute!!

We have a dog. He came to us one day, and we think he must have run away from his home. His name is Rusty, and he is an Australian shepherd. This is him to the right. He is the sweetest dog, and he is afraid of our cat, and if he sees her he runs away! I have a snake, a Ball Python. His name is Scales, and he is my favorite pet! He is almost 3 feet long. I breed mice. I have alot of them. I have been breeding them, and feeding the babies to Scales. My favorite animals are snakes. Back in November 1998 we moved in our house. It was built around 1910. There is a picture of it above. In the back there is 5 acres of pasture, and some trees. We love life in the country!!

My favorite movies are Simba's Pride and Toy Story. I also have a link to the Ty beanie baby website. I don't collect beanies much anymore, but I have four: Hissy, Princess, Early, & Erin. I also have a Ty Plush (Angel). She is a white Persian cat. My favorite TV shows are Arthur, Wishbone, and the Magic School Bus. My favorite color is red. I like purple, too. I really like all colors (like a rainbow), so I make everything as colorful as I can. Some of the things I do are: play the piano, roller blade, collect stamps and coins, (mainly foreign ones), write stories, juggle, collect bugs (mainly bees and butterflies), crochet, and collect Carnivorous Plants. I have more than 15 carnivorous plants right now! You can go to my Carnivorous Plants page to read about them and see pictures from my collection. I like the listen to alternative, new age music (like John Tesh). I love John Tesh's music!! I also like Yanni's music, but I like John Tesh more.

I play the piano by ear. I like to play John Tesh music on the piano, but I also make some of my own songs. Make sure to visit my music page (link below). It is still under construction. I have been playing the piano since I was 3 years old! My sister, Sara, plays the violin.
